The woods will always hold a special place in my heart. To me they represent calmness, security, and adventure. They are beautiful but can also be scary due to their massive size and seemingly endlessness. My grandparents house upstate is my favorite place in the woods, there we can really be in touch and enjoy nature and all the woods have to offer. Nothing can compare to the beauty and stillness on waking up in the forrest!
Despite the fact that many may see the forrest and woods as something fearful I never feel more at peace than in the woods. In the forrest my grandparents tap the trees to make maple syrup and by working with them I feel more connected to the woods and have a deeper appreciation for them.
