Over quarantine I took my sister to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum (which if you have not been to I highly recommend). It was such a breath taking scene, there was trails all over the place that led to beautiful gardens or the water or into the forest. We spent most of our time there exploring the trails in the little patch of woods that they had, it was so much fun! We even had a little photo shoot. I took a picture next to probably one of the biggest trees there because I just could not believe how big this tree had gotten and I needed photographic proof of this massive tree that they had(seen below). The trees were huge it was insane! It is crazy to think that trees do so much for us and aren’t just pretty things to look at. They not only provide us with oxygen but they also provide us with materials for tools and shelter. With this in mind we need to be careful with how we use wood from these trees because it takes a long time for them to get to those great big heights and we can not be tearing them down faster than they are growing.
